Travel to the Roman Empire

The counties Yorkshire and Northumbria belong to the Northern area of England. These are rich in history from the Dark Ages. There are many festivals and museums that illustrate Viking history.

You will find yourself amidst an impressive scenery of lakes and mountains formed by time and climate impact. There are many walks and trails in this area. You can take boat trips on lakes as well.
